With three and a half miles of pink sand, Harbour Island is the jewel of the Bahamas. Six Shillings is
located on the north side of the island, right on the beach and a few doors away from the Pink Sands
Hotel. Located within walking distance of picturesque Dunmore Town, this waterfront
beach house, with its breath-taking panoramas, its large wrap around deck overlooking the ocean
and its private beach access, is the perfect secluded setting for your Bahamian vacation.
Six Shillings was originally built as the first private residence on the grounds of the Pink Sands Club. A major refurbishment and addition to the main house, while maintaining the simplicity of a beach house, has been completed in January 2016. Sitting on two acres of private, lush and colorful grounds, the main house has
an open plan kitchen and a large living room with a cathedral ceiling and dramatic views looking out to
the sea. A new separate dining room has been added and each of the three spacious double bedrooms
has its own en suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and direct access on to
the deck. The first guest bedroom opens onto the deck and overlooks the ocean. The second
guest bedroom offers a garden view. Each of the guest bedrooms has two single beds
which can be converted into king size beds if desired.

Also new to the house is a shaded outdoor dining area and pergola with seating for 10
overlooking the beach. The charming separate cottage has an additional
bedroom with two single beds and an en suite bathroom.

The main house and cottage sleep eight guests.
